Additionally, the hotel's location was superb. It was conveniently close to restaurants and shops, making it easy to explore and find great dining options. The nearby 7/11 was also a big plus for any last-minute needs.

There were a couple of downsides. The air conditioning in the rooms was a bit unreliable, causing it to alternate between hot and cold throughout the night, affecting our sleep quality.

As a solo traveler, I loved the traditional ryokan entrance and lobby. The 18th floor bath with a Shinjuku skyline view was a highlight. The bed was comfortable, and the room got dark at night, making for a great night's sleep. The staff were friendly.

The hotel is located at a walkable distance from the next subway station, Shinjuku JR station and several convenience stores. The room was clean, safe, relaxing, and the staff was very attentive. The rooftop bath and view from the bed allowed for a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. The delicious tea, nibblies upon arrival and breakfast were enjoyable and there was even a convenience store across the road.
